After my initial ideas i began to look at my work which is type based mix media and screen print and see what the results are, here are some examples of the work i have been doing over the past two weeks with development and posters.

On my other blog is where you can find my narrative about my fmp but i still want to post my work onto this blog.

these are images from me as a child and how on an emoitional, mental and enviromental level has effected me without having a father in my life, when ive needed one, wanted one and how many people can relate to me not knowing or never been able to see their dad or mom and thinking i wonder what he/she looks like.

After using my sutton lesson to create something towards another lesson i began to mould a character for my 3d studies, i wanted to aim my character at children, but also maybe do some sort of book to accompany him, here was a clay test of what the piece may look like.

For ellens lessons i wanted to take my idea forward in a raw way using images from my digital manipulation side and screen print and draw and put materials on top of, i found the trials to be quite successful. For my final piece i aim to create one of these but 3 meters in lenght.

To of the best pieces of video work i seen last year, the audi advert for a new range of car the music is stunning goes in sync so well with the imagery and normally i would say mirroring is cheese ball but in this ad it works so well, almost gives you the chills in the way which certain imagery has been created for instance the horses.

The polo advert was more inspirational when doing the fashion films not in style but the camera angles work so well and the narrative is easy to get, but the director must have had to shoot this alot to make it as perfect as it is.

In our c4d sessions we recently were taught about hair and how you can create grass which reminded me of sully from monsters inc really easy and simple to do, but also we looked at making blocks explode all simple techniques which we can use on a bigger scale on more narrative based work, in my mind these techniques are for broadcast animation but never the less i enjoyed learning more.

Wolverhampton gallery visit

Contextual _ Brief - Gallery _ Visit :

Today we had went to a gallery to view some work and have a look at how shows are either put together well or badly, the Wolverhampton gallery had about 5 rooms with work in. Each room varied but overall the layout was poor the framing of the work was bad because they were different sized frames, also there was a statue just in the middle of the hallway which didnt seem to sit very well with me, it was if it had been plonked there but all this is going into my report.
