Here are the images of my zine work from the dust -up after party / exhibition, overall the poster was long in the last image a fellow student walked past and i took the idea to shoot him in it to show the length of the poster overall it was 4 meters long to cover work behind and was the biggest piece in length in the show overall i was happy maybe slightly annoyed due to the fact i had one piece but then could i moan it was huge, overall great job by the lads down feed, nick freeman was amazing as always, (my second time seeing him) and the after party was good.

Zine _ Brief - Film : Poster _2

Taking my idea and poster further i developed some spreads whilst messing about with a circle a bit of a mistake but it turns out to look visually pleasing also i have played with a brown which is way out of my colour pallette in a way trying new things isnt bad i just dont want to lose the digital aspect of my design game i seem to be enjoying this cut and paste method quite abit.

Zine _ Brief - Final  / Poster _ 1 :

After Thinking about an outcome for my zine was tough i thought about all the mix media work which i produced ontop of my digital work but the mix media work had everything and need minor tweaks this is a thin narrow banner format for my zine and my piece toward our art-bar exhibition.

Experimental _ Fashion - Final  / film : 

Again For the experimental fashion film my group and i looked into the condition Anorexia, and how it effects and what would you do if you was in the same boat as the girl in the video, we wanted to inform and shock using clever make - up shots which gives the whole film a sinister feeling due to the character looking so innocent overall a great piece of work to cap off yellow week.

Xmas _ Cards

Xmas _ Card - Brief  / Outside college / Response : 
Again After being given the brief i wanted to attack the brief on my own as well as with my fellow designers but i wanted to go on my own sort the packaging because in industry you wont have help and i wanted to prove to myself i could do it, anyway here is my first sample pack 5 cards front and back design plain inside a6 in size with a 5 envelopes and a slightly bigger than a5 plastic packaging with a handmade litho block printed label, also inside to hold cards is a elastic band and piece of card smart and clean.

Experimental _ Fashion - Film  / Research / Inspiration :

Again after a think and talking with the group i wanted to take a step back and research into the masters of making films and experimental films here are 3 links to 3 different artists / design agencies each different from one another in style in my opinion i think experimental doesn't mean having to put a limit on it, but again this is just initial ideas.

Again like the design before hand here is a set of 16 cards A5 in size folded to create A6 i think from a design perspective they work on certain levels and i have shown them to people who have no design background (and not my family) and they like them they say there quirky.

After the crit i continued with this idea and listened to what my lecturer said about the white background not being the best platform to design ontop of so i changed the colour background to a light shade of the colour used.

 

Feed Night - Posters

Again after the crit i went back to the feed night poster and changed the poster completely but keep within the style of feed due to it being a branding situation.

After the crit i wanted to go back and change the poster and focus on a symbol due to personal style and change the colour from the feed green to a lighter or darker green these are the posters 3 - a4 in size and 1 trimmed to make a banner size.

After looking through a family members attic i found a book that was bought to do with the royal family and the person it belong to stuck news paper clippings in and i found it stunning so i thought about my zine and i wanted to just go wild again and do something raw rather than digital (even though ill be doing both anyway) but heres some of the images of the book.

Zine Brief - Intial _ Development

Here are the initial ideas and work i have produced for adams and elens lessons a mix of two but different coloured outcomes i have to say i am really enjoying this whole getting my hands dirty and producing mixed media work, to start off i looked into alcohol abuse and called my zine binge i then went to sutton and created a wooden template to print with ontop of work and intial ideas as seen here i aimed to make it look rough worn and rustic if i can use that word :S anyway the most interesting piece has to be the binge ontop of the wall paper which is basically my grand father used to get drunk outside then continue in the house and most working class people drink in there own home its almost a symbolic way of thinking if that makes any sense? but i want to look at things like when your drunk and you see scenarios of food being thrown up walls ect........
